Time to Identify Your Shift Gifts
There are three ways to identify your Shift Gifts:
1. Elimination. The easiest way is by going through the list of 8 gifts and identifying which ones are most definitely not you. I know Order & Wisdom are nowhere near to being my top three gifts.
Which ones simply don’t resonate with you?
2. Admiration. Often we are attracted to those who possess the same dominant gifts as we do. I follow anybody that places a heavy emphasis on not only being you but expressing who you are in everything you do. I’m also attracted to those who have empathy and care about their audience. It’s no coincidence that expression & compassion are 2 of my top 3 gifts.
Who do you admire? Which Shift Gifts do they express?
3. Adoration. When do you feel the most alive? What content do you create that you absolutely love? It may be different than the content you *should* create. One thing that stood out for me is I love writing about anything that encourages showing the real you and I loathe writing about marketing how-to info. Coincidentally, this was also a humungous flag that not only was I not living in my purpose as an Ads Strategist and examination of my content creation was a catalyst to pivot in the work I do now.
